Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:APC) today announced John Colglazier has been named Vice President, Investor Relations and Communications.

Mr. Colglazier has more than 25 years of experience in a variety of accounting, planning and investor relations positions with the company. He joined Union Pacific Corporation in 1982 as a corporate auditor and has held positions of increasing responsibility with Union Pacific and Anadarko. Most recently he served as director of investor relations for Anadarko.

“John’s depth and breadth of knowledge about the industry and the company’s financials and operating areas make him an essential part of our team,” Anadarko Sr. Vice President, Finance and CFO, Al Walker said. “He is respected in the financial community for his ability to keep our stakeholders informed and enhance their understanding of Anadarko’s performance.”

Mr. Colglazier graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas. He also is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas.
